The way the next 4 months plays out is crucial to the survival of the United States as we know it.
The players are all placing their pieces on the board, the positioning of which, could set them up for success (or failure).
What am I talking about?
The re-launch of the Dallas television series, of course…
But all joking aside, the race for the Presidency of the United States is starting to ramp up, as after more than a year of anticipation; we will have the final faceoff between Mitt Romney and current POTUS, Barack Obama.
But many aren’t sure if these two men are the right choice – republicans, democrats and independents alike are all searching for the person needed to solve the problem of what is ailing our great country…
Lack of direction.
Many of today’s career politicians try to please too many people in an attempt to not offend…
They try to straddle the line between left and right, while claiming their feet are firmly planted on one side or the other.
It’s this desire to hold onto their place at the table that drives these men and women, as opposed to the welfare of our great nation…
And I for one am sick of it.
I’m looking for a leader that has a clear and concise direction on where the U.S. needs to go in order to ensure our place as the Leader of the Free World…
And an even clearer plan on how to get us BACK to the greatness that we once achieved.
And you can’t have that kind of direction while trying to keep everybody happy…
You can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.
Feelings will get hurt, opinions will be ignored and hard decisions will have to be made – it’s the only thing that will keep us moving forward as a nation.
We need a Teddy Roosevelt…
We need a Ronald Reagan…
What we don’t need is another Carter or another 4 years of Obama.
You’d think this opinion comes because our economies have tumbled while under the thumb of men like these, but that’s not the case…
No, to me it seems as if neither of the two candidates possess the, for lack of a better term, “stones” to lead any country, let alone the United States.
We need boldness in the White House…
I don’t care which side of the line they stand on, but at least have the cojones to take a stand and say, “I don’t care what you think, this is the decision that is made – if it costs me a second term, I don’t care – I’ve made, what I believe to be, the right decision for our country. If you don’t like it, too bad.”
No more flip-floppers…
No more wishy-washiness…
Just a clear, concise and accountable man (or woman) who unashamedly and unabashedly drive our country in the direction it needs to go.
Because while I know that every empire crumbles…
For the United States, that time isn’t NOW!
But depending on what happens in November…
It could be.
So when you’re watching the smear campaigns on your television, or receiving mailings, or looking at signs in your neighbors front yard, you only need to ask yourself one question…
Which of these two men are ACTUALLY ready to lead?
And vote accordingly…
The rest is in God’s hands.
Me? I won’t hide my opinion – given the choice between a successful businessman and a career politician…
I’ll take the businessman every time.
